S.L.A.T.E. to Help Returning Veterans
Veterans Gold Card Program will provide veterans with six months of personalized, intensive services.

Do you know a veteran just returning from a last tour of duty or who is searching for employment? The St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment (S.L.A.T.E.) wants to make sure he or she knows about the services available through the Veterans Gold Card Program.
Through the Gold Card program, S.L.A.T.E. will provide post-9/11 veterans with six months of personalized, intensive services. By downloading a gold card at http://www.dol.gov/vets/goldcard.html and presenting it at his or her local career center, an eligible veteran can reach such services as:
- Skills assessments
- Career coaching, and
- Job-search assistance.
