Overview

This District has the power to "impose a a special assessment upon real property within the District" (Ordinance 70310, Section Two).

Location:

Lot numbers 1, 2, and 3 of the Bank of California Subdivision and in City Block No. 3915 of the City of St. Louis fronting 158 feet 1 inch on the north line of Laclede Avenue, by a depth northwardly of 210 feet 2 1/4 inches to an alley, bound on the east by Sarah Street" (Ordinance 70310, Section One).

Member Requirements

Appointments require Board of Aldermen approval.

Each Director "during his or her term, shall meet the following requirements:

a) be at least 18 years of age; and

(b) either be an owner of real property or their legally authorized representative within the District ('Owner'), or an owner of a business or a legally authorized representative of a business operating within the District ('Operator') (page 2).
