Vacant Building Board-up
The proposed ordinance would require that whenever the Building Commissioner or their designee issues an order whereby a building or structure is boarded-up as a result of a violation of the building code which renders the condition of the building or structure detrimental to the health, safety, or welfare of the residents thereof and therefore constitutes a public nuisance, all entrances and windows on all floors of the building or structure shall be boarded-up. Funding for said activities shall come from the existing Building Division budget and shall not be an expansion of the budget.
