Illegal Evictions
Summary
The proposed bill would amend Ordinance 70624, which concerns illegal evictions, to add a section to provide an enforcement mechanism which authorizes the City of St. Louis Sheriff and Sheriff's Deputies to enforce the provisions of Ordinance 70624. To this end, and pursuant to the authority granted the Board under Section 57.01 of the RSMO, the bill directs the Division of Police to enter into an agreement with the Sheriff to allow the Sheriff to enforce the provisions of Ordinance 70624.
