Summary

The proposed bill will amend Ordinance 69984 which establishes the City's Civilian Oversight Board and governs its actions. The amendments will change name the name "Civilian Oversight Board" ("COB") to "Police Conduct Review Commission" ("PCRC") and the title of "Executive Director" to "Inspector of Police", and will remove the requirement that COB members and staff complete the Citizens Academy before assuming their duties.
