Summary

This ordinance would authorize the Fire Commissioner, on behalf of the City of St. Louis, to enter into a grant agreement with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for an award of funds under the American Rescue Plan Act-Rural program and to provide the Fire Commissioner with authority to spend such funds. This is an award for providing Medicare, Medicaid, or similar federally-funded health care services to persons with rural addresses, regardless of the location of the provider.
