Summary
An ordinance authorizing a non-binding preferential vote as authorized by Article II, Section 6 of the Charter of the City of St. Louis to solicit taxpayer input and feedback to assist the Board of Aldermen in determining whether to increase the current annual salary of members of the Board of Aldermen, except the President of the Board, from the current amount of $37,400.00 to $72,000.00, and the amount of funds annually received by each member of the Board of Aldermen, including the President, for charitable contributions, memberships, miscellaneous office expenses, flowers and gifts, entertainment, lobbying and other business related expenses, personal expenses, and automobile and travel expenses be increased from the current amount of $4200.00 to $5,000.00.
