Summary
The proposed bill pertains to the U.S. YouthBuild grant. The bill approves the acceptance of the U.S. Department of Labor's award of One Million Two Hundred Forty-Four Thousand Five Hundred Three Dollars ($1,244,503.00) for the purpose of carrying out the YouthBuild program. The bill appropriates the funds and authorizes the Director of the St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment to make, negotiate, and execute any and all contracts or other documents on behalf of the City, which are necessary to expend such funds and to expend such funds for the purposes allowed by the U.S. Department of Labor for the YouthBuild Grant. The bill also contains an emergency clause as it relates to current funding of program.
