BOARD BILL # 302 INTRODUCED BY PRESIDENT JAMES F. SHREWSBURY An ordinance pertaining to applicants for employment within the classified service of the City of St. Louis pursuant to the provisions of Section 43.535 of the Revised Statutes of the State of Missouri; authorizing the Director of Personnel to designate certain positions within the classified service as being of particular importance to the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the City of St. Louis and requiring the applicants for such positions submit a complete set of fingerprints to the Department of Personnel along with their application for such positions; further authorizing the Department of Personnel to submit such fingerprints to the Missouri State Highway Patrol for comparison against appropriate criminal records and to make a determination as to such applicant's ability or fitness to serve in such positions within the classified service base upon the results of such criminal background investigation.
