BOARD BILL NO. 68 INTRODUCED BY ALDERMAN ALFRED WESSELS An ordinance pertaining to the allocation and approval of public funds; amending Section One (1) (v) of Ordinance 67794, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section pertaining to the same subject matter pertaining to providing for the annual allocation of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000) for crime prevention programs and requiring the affirmative vote of a majority of all members of the Board of Aldermen; amending Section 8 of Ordinance 67477, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section pertaining to the same subject matter pertaining to providing for the creation of a special fund to be known as the Neighborhood Park Fund for the purpose of funding certain park capital improvements and recreational purposes throughout the city and requiring the affirmative vote of a majority of all members of the Board of Aldermen; amending Section 9 of Ordinance 64994, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section pertaining to the same subject matter pertaining to providing for the creation of a special fund to be known as the Metropolitan Park and Recreation District Capital Improvements Sales Tax Trust Fund for the purpose of funding certain park capital improvements and recreational purposes throughout the city and requiring the affirmative vote of a majority of all members of the Board of Aldermen; amending Section 5 of Ordinance 65435, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section pertaining to the same subject matter pertaining to the use of the Animal Protection Facility Restoration Fund for the purpose of capital improvements and requiring the affirmative vote of a majority of all members of the Board of Aldermen containing a severability clause.
