BOARD BILL NO. 217 INTRODUCED BY ALDERMAN FRANK WILLIAMSON An Ordinance pertaining to applicants seeking employment with the City of St. Louis in positions in the civil service system; adding new provisions that establish a City resident hiring preference system; submitting to the qualified voters of the City of St. Louis a proposed amendment to the Charter of the City of St. Louis adding Paragraph (f) to Section 4 of Article XVIII of the Charter of the City of St. Louis relating to the granting of a City residents’ preference; containing definitions; and scoring system.
