Resolution Number 146 In Session 2023-2024
MSD Rate Increase
Summary
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Board of Aldermen urge the MSD Board of Trustees to adopt the more moderate Minority Position (24% rate increase), recognizing that it maintains the current financial assumptions and is a more moderate and balanced approach and that furthermore a 32+ % sewer rate increase would result in an unfair and unreasonable burden on St. Louis residents and businesses.
