About
The Budget and Public Employees Committee shall consider all matters pertaining to municipal finance, including the City budget, revenues, public debt, and the appropriation and disbursement of public monies. The committee also hears matters pertaining to City employment, its terms, conditions, and bargaining representatives, if any, as well as the rules, regulations, and operations of the Civil Service Commission. Maintains communication with the Budget Director, Office of the Comptroller, Board of Estimate and Apportionment, Director of Personnel, and Civil Service Commissions.
