Department: Office of the President, St. Louis Board of Aldermen
Hours: 5 - 10 hours per week
Reports To: Deputy Chief of Staff
Pay: $17 - $20 per hour

Position Overview
The Charter Revision & Operations Support Intern provides research, project management, and administrative support for ongoing charter revision efforts within the Office of the President. Working alongside the Deputy Chief of Staff, the intern will gain hands-on experience in municipal government operations, policy drafting, and legislative processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Deputy Chief of Staff with research, policy analysis, and tracking progress related to St. Louis City Charter revision work.
- Support the Deputy Chief of Staff in building and maintaining operational efficiency within the office.
Qualifications & Desired Skills
- Currently enrolled in (or recent graduate of) an undergraduate or graduate program in Political Science, Public Administration, Legal Studies, Pre-Law, or a related field or relevant experience.
- Interest in municipal government structure, public policy, and the St. Louis Board of Aldermen legislative process.
- Strong research, writing, and organizational skills. Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive city issues.
