The City of St. Louis requests proposals from qualified consultants in order to conduct cultural resources surveys in order to identify and evaluate cultural resources for housing project sites with construction financing provided by the Community Development Administration of the City of St. Louis. Cultural resources surveys are required in conjunction with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (P.L. 89-665 as amended) and the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation’s regulation as specified at 36 CFR Part 800. CDA housing activities with construction financing require both a Section 106 Review and an Environmental Review. Funding for these activities are provided by an annual allocation from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and administered by the Community Development Administration (CDA). CDA will award a contract to the lowest and most responsive proposal. Project selection is subject to federal funding and is at the sole discretion of the City of St.
Louis.
