Summary
The City of St. Louis’ 2022 Flood Recovery CDBG-DR Voluntary Home Buyout Program, funded through Community Development Block Grant–Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds, helps eligible homeowners move out of areas at higher risk of future flooding. The City may purchase eligible homes at their pre-flood fair market value, provide relocation assistance and incentives, and convert purchased properties to permanent open space to reduce future flood risk.
