CDA is seeking a not-for-profit organization to perform construction management services in order to administer a Historic Home Repair Program for owner-occupants who live in the Hyde Park, Ville, Visitation Park or other national register or local historic districts of the City of St. Louis.  The cost of maintaining the architectural integrity of historic buildings in local and National Register districts can be expensive, and beyond the reach of many homeowners.  The cost of both construction materials and labor has skyrocketed since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, thus making these necessary and critical repairs unaffordable for many homeowners.  This project will provide State and Local Fiscal Rescue Funds (SLFRF) in the amount of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000) which were appropriated by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) to assist homeowners with making necessary repairs to preserve the integrity of their homes.
