
(ST. LOUIS – February 13, 2023) Today, the Office of Comptroller Darlene Green announced the publication of the 2022 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) for the City of St. Louis, giving the public a closer look at the city’s financial health during fiscal year 2022.
This report has been prepared pursuant to, and to demonstrate compliance with, Article VIII Section 10 of the City Charter. The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) is in conformance with the standards for financial reporting of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board and the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada.
The city's basic financial statements in the report have been audited by KPMG LLP, an independent certified public accounting firm. The goal of the independent audit was to provide reasonable assurance that the basic financial statements of the City, for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2022, are free of material misstatement.
Comptroller Darlene Green is the chief fiscal officer of the City of St. Louis and is charged with safeguarding the city’s credit rating and with protecting taxpayer dollars.
