Welcome to the City of St. Louis, Missouri, License Collector’s Office.

City ordinances require that all businesses operating in the City of St. Louis must obtain a business license. The License Collector’s Office is generally the first stop a business owner makes when initiating activity within the City of St. Louis. Our desire is to make this process as user-friendly as possible.

The City of St. Louis has many different types of business licenses.
