With Warmer Weather on the Horizon, City of St. Louis Launches Parks, Recreation and Forestry Job Fair Series

Jobs with the City start at $15/hour with competitive benefits and seasonal parks and recreation jobs do not require city residency

Today, the City of St. Louis’ Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department announced that it will hold a series of job fairs across the city through March and into April and May as the region heads into spring and summer. The Parks and Recreation Job Fair series will connect job seekers to open positions, including lifeguards, full-time and seasonal utility workers, recreation assistants, and tree trimmers

“The Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department is always working to help St. Louisans enjoy our city’s recreation centers, pools, and world-class parks,” said Parks Commissioner Kim Haegele. “As we head into the warmer months, we’re looking to build our team to make this summer the best it can be.”

The series launches this Saturday, March 19, at the Wohl Recreation Center. A full schedule of opportunities is listed below:

  • March 19, 2022 at Wohl Center 11am-2pm

  • March 26, 2022 at Tandy 11am-2pm

  • April 9, 2022 at Marquette 11am-2pm

  • April 16, 2022 at 12th and Park 11am -2pm

  • May 7, 2022 at Cherokee 11am-2pm

  • May 14, 2022 at Gamble 11am -2pm
