Angela Pearson

Angela (she/her) serves as Special Project Manager for MayorTishaura O. Jones. In this hybrid role, Angela works with the communications teams and other staff members to execute multi-faceted projects. Her career includes experience working in the public, private and non-profit sectors. Angela’s past roles include Legislative Aide for 5th District Councilwoman Ryana Parks-Shaw of Kansas City, Account Manager at GPS Impact and Project Manager for MO Black Votes. Angela is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with degrees in journalism and political science with a minor in Spanish. She is an alumna of the Sue Shear Institute, Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Summer 2014 Cohort and SuperMajority Leadership 2021 Class.
