The American Red Cross has opened three shelters in St. Louis following significant storm and tornado damage today. These shelters opened with Red Cross with plenty of capacity; back-up shelters are set up with food and water, if needed.

Individuals needing a safe place to stay are encouraged to come to a shelter. Identification and/or proof of residency is NOT required to be admitted to a Red Cross shelter.

Anyone needing assistance following the storms, please go to a shelter or call 1-800-Red-Cross.
