SLATE and Ruiz McDonald’s Team Up for Hiring Day Featuring Multiple Career Opportunities

ST. LOUIS, MO — SLATE Missouri Job Center is partnering with Ruiz McDonald’s to host a McDonald’s Hiring Day recruitment event for job seekers interested in opportunities ranging from entry-level roles to leadership positions.

The hiring event will take place on Thursday, January 8, from 9:00 a.m. to noon, at SLATE Missouri Job Center, 1520 Market Street, Suite 3050, St. Louis, MO 63103.

More than 45 local McDonald’s restaurants will be hiring for a wide range of positions. Candidates do not need to pre-register or apply in advance. Job seekers are encouraged to bring their résumés and come prepared to interview the same day.

McDonald’s is widely recognized as a career starting point for millions of Americans. According to company research, nearly 1 in 8 Americans has worked at McDonald’s at some point in their lives, underscoring the company’s role in helping individuals gain skills, confidence, and pathways to long-term careers. To kick off the event, the first 108 attendees will receive a free McDonald’s breakfast.

Preparing for Hiring Day
Job seekers who would like to polish their résumés or sharpen their interview skills ahead of the event are encouraged to attend one of SLATE’s free job readiness workshops, offered weekly. Workshops include:

• Interview preparation
• Networking strategies
• Job search best practices
