St. Louis Development Corporation hosted a public Open House on Tuesday, July 9th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Gateway Elementary School (1200 N. Jefferson Ave., St. Louis, MO 63106) since the school is along the project corridor. This event spotlighted the N. Jefferson/Parnell Corridor Project, approximately two miles of planned roadway and corridor improvements to North Jefferson Avenue and Parnell Street, from Market Street to Natural Bridge Avenue.

Improvements will include upgraded signal timing at intersections, ADA crosswalks, roadway resurfacing, traffic calming, and street corridor beautification along the public right-of-way.

The City of St. Louis, St. Louis Development Corporation and Missouri Department of Transportation have programmed over $130 Million to improve accessibility between North and South St. Louis City.

This project supports the Project Connect Action Plan. Documents and more information will be made available at https://www.stlouis-mo.gov/government/departments/sldc/documents/north-jefferson-parnell-corridor.cfm

The public comment period closes July 30, 2019.
