Small Business and Non Profit Revolving Loan Fund
The Small Business and Non-Profit Revolving Loan Fund is the first piece of a larger Economic Justice Revolving Loan Fund SLDC is working with private and philanthropic partners to capitalize. These funds will help small businesses and nonprofits, with a special focus on minority and women owned entities, experiencing financial hardship because of COVID-19, as well as CDCs in need of bridge financing to drive community development. The loans may be awarded to organizations which need short-term funding to stay afloat, or to organizations which need to make longer term investments or scale to develop a sustainable business model. All participants will be required to report their expenditures, the number of jobs before and after the loan, and other relevant information necessary to determine the effectiveness of the program. A random subset of participants will be audited to protect against fraud.
