Revoke My City Access to a Social Account
Remove the ability to sign in to City of St. Louis applications with your social account
On This Page
Overview
The City uses a third-party service called Auth0 Universal Login to allow people to sign into the City website to use some services for which a login is required.
With Auth0, you can sign in with a username and password, use a passkey, or use your Google, LinkedIn, or Microsoft account (social accounts) to authenticate you.
When you use a social account for authentication, Auth0 receives your name, email address, profile picture and preferred language from that account. We do not receive any other information about you, nor does the City or Auth0 gain access to your account.
Preparation
For those who created an account by linking a social account, revoking access will delete your City website account. If you have an application in process, your application data will not be deleted.
If you want to remove access to your social account, you'll need to be logged into the account in question.
Instructions
What to Expect
Auth0 will no longer be able to use your social account to log you into the City website, and your City website account will be deleted.
