During this annual Open Enrollment season, the Department of Personnel suggests that you take the opportunity to assess your BEFORE/AFTER TAX election.  The BEFORE/AFTER TAX election applies to Medical and Dental Insurance Premium Deductions.

If you wish to make a change, you must complete a Tax Authorization Form.  The change will remain in effect until June 23, 2018.  Do nothing -- and your present tax deduction election will remain as it currently is.  Changes made this year will be effective June 25th and will be reflected on the check stub that you will receive on July 14.

Updated Tax Authorization Forms must be received in the Department of Personnel, Employee Benefits Section, before 5 p.m., Friday, May 19.

To find out your current election, please review your pay stub; BEFORE TAX deductions have the prefix "Flex," for example, Flex Medical, Flex Dental.

Feel free to contact the Employee Benefits Section at (314) 622-3200 if you have questions.
