2018 Back to School Sales Tax Holiday

Missouri's Back to School Sales Tax Holiday will take place this year beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, Aug 3, and running through Sunday, Aug. 5 until midnight. Certain back-to-school purchases, such as clothing, school supplies, computers, and other items as defined by Section 144.049, RSMo., will be exempt from sales tax for this time period only. More information about qualifying items and cities, counties, and districts NOT participating in the 2018 Sales Tax Holiday may be found on the Missouri Department of Revenue website at https://dor.mo.gov/business/sales/taxholiday/school/.
