Each year Prostate Cancer Awareness Month is observed to increase awareness about this life threatening disease. About one in nine men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during his lifetime. Early detection is the key to successful treatment.
During the month of September, the many organizations and associations that engage in activities designed to raise awareness of this issue, and which are responsible for saving an untold number of men's lives, once again encourage men to talk with their health provider about prostate cancer and early detection.
