The Collector of Revenue Office was proud to honor employees with outstanding attendance performance in 2013. The office was also pleased to announce the 2013 Employee of the Year.
On Friday, January 31st, employees were recognized for near-perfect and perfect attendance. Eighteen employees qualified for the award using between zero and eight hours of sick leave for the 2013 calendar year. For their outstanding commitment to the office they received a framed Certificate of Achievement.
The staff gathered on the second floor of City Hall to celebrate before the annual awards ceremony. Inside the Kennedy Room awards were presented for service anniversaries, attendance awards and for Employee of the Year in the Collector of Revenue Office.
Congratulations to the following employees who received an award:
Near-Perfect Attendance (8 hours or less sick time): Sharon Bourne, Lou Favazza, Judy Gill and Gerri Perry.
Perfect Attendance: Marc Stoff, Robert Kummer, Larry Unger, Jackie Whittier, Kathy Gamache, Nick Kratky, Pat Ortmann, Stephen Sondermann, Ray Weckback, Tom Hinchy, Rita Lahr, Rick Metz, Brad Phillips and Jean Schuh.
The Employee of the Year is elected from co-worker nominations. The Collector of Revenue's 2013 Employee of the Year is Pat Ortmann!
Pat is well respected by her co-workers and it is no surprise that Pat was awarded this honor. Pat is an Assistant Collector who oversees the Personal Property Department. Pat has been with the office for 7 years. Mr. Daly was pleased to award Pat Ortmann, the 2013 Employee of the Year!
