The Collector of Revenue Office was proud to honor employees with outstanding attendance performance in 2012. The office was also pleased to announce the 2012 Employee of the Year.
On Friday, February 1st, employees were recognized for near-perfect and perfect attendance. Eighteen employees qualified for the award using between zero and eight hours of sick leave for the 2012 calendar year. For their outstanding commitment to the office they received a framed Certificate of Achievement.
The staff gathered on the second floor of City Hall to celebrate before the annual awards ceremony. Inside the Kennedy Room awards were presented for service anniversaries, attendance awards and for Employee of the Year in the Collector of Revenue Office.
Congratulations to the following employees who received an award:
Near-Perfect Attendance (8 hours or less): Ann Kerry, Rick Metz and Brad Phillips.
Perfect Attendance: Deanna Cecil, Lou Favazza, Kathy Gamache, David Jackson, Michele Klupe, Nick Kratky, Bob Kummer, Pat Ortmann, Stephen Sondermann, Marc Stoff, Larry Unger, Tom Vollmer, Ray Weckback, Jackie Whittier and Bob Willner.
The recipient of the Employee of the Year Award is elected from employee nominations. The 2011 Employee of the Year, Amir Softic, passed the torch on to Joe Marfia, who became the Collector of Revenue’s 2012 Employee of the Year!
Joe is well respected by his co-workers and it is no surprise that Joe was awarded this honor. Joe recently retired in January, 2012, from the Collector of Revenue Office after being employed there for 20 years. Mr. Daly was pleased to award Joe Marfia, the 2012 Employee of the Year!
