Tell Newsgram your favorite St. Louis City Park.
This article is 12 years old. It was published on July 11, 2013.

Since 1985, America has celebrated July as the nation's official Park and Recreation Month. Created by the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA), Park and Recreation Month specifically highlights the vital role local parks and recreation play in conservation, health and wellness, and social equity efforts in communities all across the country. This year, the NRPA wants everyone to show and share their love for local parks and recreation.
Many people visit St. Louis parks every day, but you are invited to especially use Park and Recreation Month to experience all the wonderful aspects of our city's parks. Please feel free to tweet (@Newsgram) or email Newsgram (newsgram@stlouis-mo.gov) a photo from your favorite park and recreation area, and Newsgram will retweet/post them. Use the hashtag #ParkRecLuv
Visit the nrpa.org web site for national Park and Recreation Month activities.
