After much planning and many update memos, the City switched to Google email and documents on Monday, June 25.  The migration was successful.  Now, city workers can easily access email and documents on laptops, desktops and personal devices.

To help ensure that every employee was ready to use Gmail on Day One a number of City employees were enlisted and/or volunteered to be Early Adopters and Google Guides.

Google Guides were encouraged to decorate their office doors so co-workers would know they would be available to help and answer questions on the "Go Live" date.  Here's how Jennifer Adams at the City Justice Center decorated her door.  Jennifer supported staff at both CJC and MSI in migrating to Google email.
