Two Division of Corrections Academy Classes Graduate

The Department of Public Safety - Division of Corrections recently held two graduation ceremonies for its Academy Classes. The first was held on Dec. 3, 2010.
Congratulations to (in alphabetical order): Officers Charmaine Berry, Roshea Bost, Ashley Burns, James DeBoard, Bridgitti Dunning, Syrtha Eckford, Marne Griffin, Cornell Gray, Justin Lindley, Munwel Martin, Devin McGill, Nikita Patton, Terrence Sharp and Latrice Jeffries-Tate.
The second ceremony was held on Jan. 14, 2011.
Congratulations to (in alphabetical order): Officers Tanisha Hagler, Elvis Howard, Miesha Johnson, Larriesha Rhodes, Kevin Ross, Renee Smith, Nathan Zachary, and Freddie Wills.
Once an individual is hired as a Correctional Officer, he or she must then attend and successfully complete the Training Academy, which consists of four weeks of courses covering the policies and procedures followed at the City's correctional facilities.
