A total of $1,205 was collected during this year's City Hall fundraising drive to benefit Soldiers Memorial Military Museum. The amount was nearly double the 2010 effort. Money was raised from the 2nd Annual St. Louis City Hall Veterans Day Raffle for Soldiers Memorial, a silent auction, City Hall customer contributions to donation cans, and casual day fees paid by employees of the City Recorder of Deeds and Vital Records Registrar, sponsors of the events. Funds will go to the Friends of Soldiers Memorial Military Museum, the 501(c)3 charity established to assist with maintenance and improvement of Soldiers' Memorial.
Names of the seventeen raffle winners, ticket seller incentive drawing winner, and their prizes may be found at www.stlouiscityrecorder.org.
