Meyer started with the City of St. Louis on July 26, 1976 at the Board of Public Service, Design Division, Survey Section in City Hall as an Engineering Aide I.  He promoted up through to the system to his current position of Engineering Technician I.  During his tenure, Meyer has worked on numerous City buildings renovation projects, including City Hall, Civil Courts, and Medium Security Institution to name but a few.  Meyer worked on the construction of the Gateway Transportation building and the America Center's expansion from start to finish.  He also has handled the majority of roof repairs and replacement projects and has probably been on the roof of countless number of City Buildings.
