 The St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission (SLCVC) has hired Lucy Roate as its Convention Services Manager.  Roate will serve as a liaison between the client and area suppliers.  She will also arrange and conduct planning visits to showcase St. Louis as a prime convention and meeting site.

Prior to joining the SLCVC, Roate was Travel Director for Maritz Inc., providing clients and hotel and convention staff with comprehensive onsite planning.  She also served as an Event Coordinator at the Kemp Auto Museum in Chesterfield.
