Michael Holmes Elected to NAWDP Board of Directors

Michael K Holmes, Executive Director, SLATEMichael K. Holmes, Executive Director of the St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment, has been elected to serve on the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP) Board of Directors. The election took place at the NAWDP 23rd Annual Conference held in May 2011 and was certified in June 2011.

The mission of the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals is to be the national voice for the profession and meet the individual professional development needs of the membership. The NAWDP Board of Directors identifies, implements and promotes policies and programs that will improve the effectiveness and professionalism of the workforce system.

Members of the NAWDP Board of Directors serve without compensation or reimbursement of expenses. They contribute their time and resources to advance the profession of workforce development, both for the benefit of the NAWDP members they represent and society as a whole. The organization has more than 3,500 members nationwide.
