Officials who made book donation possible

After visiting both the Salvation Army and Adams Elementary in order to build a relationship with leadership, NIS Ron Coleman discovered a need for books at Adams Elementary as part of their Free Books program. Students there are encouraged to take books home to read and build up their own library at home, since many children have few possessions at all and often no books. NIS Coleman set up a donation of children's books from Salvation Army to Adams Elementary School. The Salvation Army is very excited about this opportunity and plans to publish an article on the partnership out of the regional office in Chicago. Thank you to Salvation Army Major Kendall Matthews and Principal Cameron Coleman of Adams Elementary.
