Roger Berry Receives 40-year Service Pin

Has been with the Department of Parks, Recreation & Forestry his entire career

During a brief ceremony last month in the Mayor's Office, Mayor Lyda Krewson presented a 40-year service pin to longtime Parks Division employee Roger Berry. Pictured from left are Tracy Hoare of the Parks Division; Mayor Krewson; Berry; Director of Parks, Recreation and Forestry Greg Hayes; Parks Commissioner Kim Haegele; and Parks Maintenance Manager Matt Winkler.

Berry began his career with the City in 1979 as a Parkkeeper I, promoted to Parkkeeper II in 1983 and attained his current position of Park Supervisor II in 1986.
