The Supply Division sponsored its Annual Vendor Fair on Wednesday, April 25.  The  2012 event included some of the giants in their respective markets.  Participating companies included Staples, Xerox, Oce, Grainger and two local, women-owned businesses, Logo Masters and GSM Development.  The purpose of the Fair is to give the City employees a face-to-face opportunity to speak with representatives of some of the City's largest suppliers and contractors.

This year's Fair saw increased foot traffic from previous years.  Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., approximately 175 employees were able to meet and discuss current business and future opportunities.  Suppliers have already lined up for next year's event.  And they were not the only ones excited about the day's event…there were 23 lucky people who received door prizes, awarded in a drawing held after the event.  Prizes included paper shredders, digital picture frame, and Bluetooth cell phone attachment.  It was a great day.  And for those of you who did not make it Wednesday…see you next year!
