Walgreens Re-entry to the Express Scripts Network
Good news from Director of Personnel Rick Frank for City employees enrolled in medical and pharmacy coverage
This article is 13 years old. It was published on September 1, 2012.
In a memo to City employees last month, Richard Frank, Director of Personnel announced that effective Sept. 15, 2012, Walgreens will return to the Express Scripts network and we will be able to fill prescriptions at any Walgreens pharmacy. To find all participating Walgreens pharmacies, visit www.Express-Scripts.com, log in and use the Find a Pharmacy feature.
City employees are not required to transfer their prescription to Walgreens and may continue to use their current pharmacy. However, remember that for any prescription filled at Walgreens prior to Sept. 15, 2012, you will pay the full price.
