Carl W. 'Wes' Yates III Appointed Top Counselor for Jefferson County

Carl W. "Wes" Yates III has been appointed as the County Counselor for Jefferson County, effective June 27, 2011.

Yates wrote in an email announcing his new position that "Jefferson County has just instituted a Charter form of Government similar to ours in the City and as you may know, Jefferson County is the fastest growing county in Missouri...it should be an exciting time."  He went on to write how much he has enjoyed working with everyone and will keep in contact.

Yates' last physical day in the City Counselor's Office will be Friday, June 3.
