A special Monday night event with SIRSY live at The Attic inside from 730-10.  SIRSY is a nationally touring indie-pop/rock and soul band -- fronted by singer/songwriter & drummer, Melanie (who drums while standing) and accompanied by guitarist, husband, and co-writer Rich (who – at live shows- plays the bass on a pedalboard with his feet). The Boston Globe calls Sirsy “the little band with the big sound”.  SIRSY has 8 albums of catchy originals. Their live show is friendly with stories from the road and nerdy jokes.  The band has performed 250 shows/year nationally, for the past 16 years.  They’ve warmed stages for Grace Potter, Brandi Carlile, Maroon 5, Train, Collective Soul, The Spindoctors, Cheap Trick, Blues Traveler, Joan Jett, to name a few. Their music was featured on the hit tv show “Shameless” on Showtime, MTV, HBO, and PBS.
