Description
Join us on Saturday, July 16th 7 to 9pm for the pre-sale and listening party of “split my sides, the album.” The event is free and open to the public! RSVP not required. For the exhibition, split my sides, Lola Ayisha Ogbara and Amina Ross developed their experiments with sound into a split EP -- “Hilarities and Unrest // Sonic Rupture: songs for(e) the swarm iteration 004.” The Luminary is pleased to produce a limited edition of 100 vinyl 12" albums for a one-time pressing! To celebrate Ogbara and Ross' work and the closing of the exhibition, The Luminary is excited to host a listening party for the upcoming release. We’ll spin the record front-to-back, and then keep the vibes going with a live DJ and a raffle of five limited edition test pressings of the EP. Attendees will get a preview of “split my sides, the album” and pre-sale early access. Pre-sale opens to the public via a webstore on July 22nd at 12 PM CST.More Information
