Description
The Bommarito Audi Gateway Cup is a professional and amateur cycling event. Each day of races features a "fight card" of heats that showcase the top amateur bicycle racers. Each day culminates in a men's and women's professional race that attracts the top national and international athletes. The races are held in four signature St. Louis neighborhoods; Lafayette Square on Friday 9/2, St. Louis Hills around Francis Park on Saturday 9/3, on the Italian Hill on 9/4, and in Benton Park on 9/5. The race on this Hill is the final of the American Criterium Cup, a ten race professional series, that is the top level of the sport in the US. Over $100K will be on the line, split evening between men and women on Sunday, 9/4. This race will be streamed live on the Outside channel. More than a series of bicycles races, the Bommarito Audi Gateway Cup celebrates the City of St. Louis, it's neighborhoods, parks, and local business communities. This world class event is free to spectate and guaranteed to entertain. Each day also features kids races, expos, and a host of other activities to encourage active living in St. Louis.More Information
