The Office of Violence Prevention (OVP), a division of the City of St. Louis Department of Public Safety, is hosting a Logo Design Contest to launch our OVP Kickback Team! 

What is the OVP Kickback Team? Young adults who are committed to reducing violence and creating safe communities in the City of St. Louis.

Enter your design and start a trend! The winning design will brand FREE Tees distributed to hundreds of St. Louis City Teens this summer. The winning OVP Kickback Team logo and an anti-gun violence message will be shared far and wide!

BACKGROUND:  Founded in July 2022, the Office of Violence Prevention (OVP) coordinates public safety resources and community violence intervention programs to make St. Louis neighborhoods safer. OVP hosts the monthly OVP Kickback in St. Louis neighborhood parks every third Saturday of the month. During each OVP Kickback, we provide a deejay, free food, and free gun safety locks.

 

Free T-shirts worn by the OVP Kickback Team this summer may have your logo! The winning design will be chosen on July 7, 2023, and announced at the #OVPKickback the following Saturday, July 15, 2023, in O'Fallon Park from 2-6 pm.

RULES:  

Logo Design should illustrate both an anti-gun violence message and the name OVP Kickback Team.

Only submit one entry as an individual, or as part of a team.

Entrants must be 24 years of age or younger.

Avoid hate speech or discriminatory language.

There are no restrictions on the color palette or size of the logo design.
