We’re looking for people who want to develop a lasting friendship with a refugee family! Our family partnering program partners volunteers with refugee families. Our family partner volunteers: -Are friends and advocates -Help navigate social and public services in St. Louis -Assist with budgeting and goal planning -Enjoy celebrating and leisure activities The goal of the program is self-sufficiency for the refugee family and lasting friendship between the refugee family and the family partners. Our program started with Syrian families, and five years later, we have many family partners still in active relationship with their Syrian families! Today, our new family partners work mostly with Afghan families.
