Description

Atrium maintains a good collection of significant photography by a number of artists with a very diverse sensibility to the medium. From figuration to landscapes to abstract, this collection also presents many variations in the handling of the photo media. Some works are realized on metal, some are bursting with color, some are more subtle with black and white tones, some exhibit trompe l’oeil and seem at first glance to be collages, but no, it is straight photography. We hope viewers will find this summer exhibition interesting and enticing. “Picturesque” will open August 10 with a reception from 6-8 pm. For more information and images please contact the gallery.
