Description
On Wednesday, August 23, 2023, SLATE Missouri Job Center will hold a job fair for transportation & logistics professionals and job seekers interested in entry-level positions. The event is from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., in the 1st Floor Conference Room of 1520 Market Street, St. Louis, MO 63103.
Meet with the following employers: Grey Eagle Distributors, City of St. Louis Government, FedEx, Watco, St. Louis Community College, Missouri Central School Bus, Metro, and Performance Food Group. Participants will also learn about Boeing Pre-Employment Training and CDL-A Professional Truck Driving programs.
Interested individuals should complete a profile at https://jobs.mo.gov before the event. Call SLATE at (314) 589-8000 with any questions.
Meter parking is available along Market Street; however, we recommend visitors park at Kiel Center Garage, situated immediately behind our building, at the corner of Clark &16th.
Additionally, SLATE offers various job search workshops and assessments and can provide funding assistance to eligible candidates for some short-term training programs. SLATE Missouri Job Center is at 1520 Market Street, 3rd Floor, Room 3050. The SLATE office is open from Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., except Wednesdays, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Orientations are on Tuesdays at 2 p.m. and Fridays at 10 a.m.
